Imprisoned former President Mohamed Nasheed has said that he is tying a ribbon to take part in the 73 hours 13 minute long ‘Mijuvaan’ movement by the opposition.
MDP parliamentary group leader Ibrahim Mohamed Solih ‘Ibu’ read out a message from the former President at the protest on Saturday night.
“I am tying a ribbon to take part in the movement. I will for all to remain steadfast and courageous. Every dark night ends with the light of dawn.”
The key demand of the opposition is the release of former President Nasheed.
