Maldivian Democratic Party is preparing to hold a large rally in the streets of Male’ on 6th November.
The announcement was made in a statement issued on the occasion of the Islamic New Year being celebrated on Wednesday.
MDP called supporters to make their New Year prayers for ending brutality and establish a fair government in the country.
The opposition party also called on as many supporters to take part in the rally against brutality on November 6th.
The statement noted that Maldivians were enduring pain and sorrow as they face a new Islamic year.@cnm.mv
